Ogif is a reference for intermediate housing in Ile-de-France. As a company, it is committed to sustainable development and implements a strategy to take up to its challenges in CSR.
Thus, Ogif decided to raise awareness among its employees with events on sustainable development. In 2013, it called to ekodev to organise a breakfast with fair trade and organic products and a photo exhibition on agroforestry. More than 150 administrative employees and caretakers got together on this occasion to learn more about the company’s sustainable development policy and to share some nice time.
Since then, Ogif and ekodev have been building a long-term partnership. To keep going with a concrete and entertaining approach, Ogif set up beehives on rooftops in three apartment blocks. The tenants got caught up, brought homemade cookies and some of them even discovered a real passion for beekeeping! ekodev actions are really meant to create social bonds and raise awareness on biodiversity challenges. Incidentally, urban biodiversity was the subject of a photo contest organised for all Ogif employees.
These actions were so popular Ogif asked for ekodev’s expertise to implement a dialogue with its stakeholders. First, the consulting company organised workshops to identify and prioritize stakeholders with a group of fifteen employees. Then, it helped the housing company to consult its main stakeholders on their expectations with regards to CSR (interviews, workshops with employees, surveys…). This dialogue with stakeholders was a way to analyse Ogif’s materiality and to confront its CSR strategy to stakeholders’ opinion.
